More England success for Hartshill's Women

Players Wanted

Are you experienced between the sticks?

A fearless shot stopper or a penalty saving specialist?

Hartshill are looking for goalkeepers to join our squads for the upcoming season and beyond.

Are you over 50 (men's) or over 35 (women's), free Sunday afternoons and able to travel to games?

If you have commitment and dedication you might be perfect for our teams.

Contact Gordon Lee via email: hartshillwfcsecretary@outlook.com and arrange to come to a training session suitable for you.

Goal

Two members of our women's squad recently tried out for an England squad place with the England Walking Football Community (EWFC). Jayne Cook and Emma Parkes joined other trialists for the 40s squad on 18th February at Valley Stadium, Redditch. Emma went on to secure a goalkeeping position in the squad and becomes yet another international player from Hartshill Strollers.

Huge congratulations to Emma!!

Hartshill's Latest England News

Hartshill's Jay Adams is the latest player to receive a call up to the England ranks.

Having successfully delivered Women's football to the club the former Wolves and Dudley player was invited to attend a trial along with several other players from the women's team.

That is amazing going for a team formed less than 12 months ago.

However Jay needs help to find a sponsor for her England kit so if you or anyone you know is interested and can help contact Jay at hartshillwomanswfc@outlook.com or catch her at a training session soon.
