Easy as 1 2 3
Goal ace John Cooper turns out to be quite an expert on the 1,2,3 of walking football.
The nifty Over 60s super striker appeared to have lost his goal-scoring touch at training on Sunday, March 11.
As well as being denied by a hatful of top saves by goalkeeper Dave Seddon, Cooperman hit the post no fewer than THREE times in quick succession.
Then - just for a change - he rattled the crossbar ONCE.
With time running out in the match, it seemed that our hero would draw a rare blank. But, then, he scored TWICE in the dying minutes to give his side to a 5-3 victory.
Let's hope that Cooperman finds the target at the England 60+ trials on April 22.
