Bob Skingle has pulled on his boots again - just six weeks after having a hip replacement operation.

He turned up at training on Thursday, April 12 and played for the whole hour.

Afterwards, a cheerful Bob reported that he felt 'a bit sore' but was otherwise perfectly OK.

His return completed a hat-trick of notable health recoveries among the club's older contingent.

A couple of months ago, Terry Smith thought his footballing days were finally over due to arthritis in his right knee, but a second medical opinion said he was OK to carry on . . . and he's now playing out of his skin.

Meanwhile, new member Dave Walker is back in action again after a nasty bout of tendonitis.

With a combined age of 214, the trio are living proof that it ain't over until it's over which is the wonder of walking football.

Welcome back!
