Hartshill Strollers win the 2022 Caldicot tournament

Hartshill entered the tournament with high hopes of bringing home some silverware having won the tournament in the past. Manager Robert Dunning sent the below summary of the day.

Caldicot tournament South Wales, two teams withdrew at the last minute due to extreme heat leaving Caldicot , Barry Town , Abbymead, and Hartshill to play each other twice in a league format. Played six won six scored 15 goals Sarv Tah 5, Liam Keyes 4, Gary Davis 2, Dave Franklin 2, Rob Dunning 2. Roger Furnell 6 clean sheets, some of the best football I’ve have seen this group play, very disciplined and focused performance in difficult conditions, fantastic day out 👏👏👏👏🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
